Description

Air Fryer Million Dollar Ravioli Bites are a quick, crispy, and cheesy appetizer made with frozen cheese ravioli, seasoned breadcrumbs, and Parmesan cheese. Ready in under 30 minutes, these bites are perfect for parties, snacks, or weeknight cravings. Served with marinara sauce, they bring Italian-inspired flavor and crunch without deep frying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (9 oz) frozen cheese ravioli: Provides the cheesy, tender base for the bites.
  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs: Adds a flavorful, crispy coating.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese: Enhances flavor with a salty, nutty richness.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder: Adds warm, savory depth.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning: Infuses classic herb flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt: Balances and elevates all the flavors.
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper: Adds a mild spicy note.
  • 2 large eggs: Helps the coating stick and create a golden crust.
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour: Base layer for dredging and helps coating adhere.
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish): Adds color and a hint of freshness.
  • Marinara sauce (for dipping): Complements the bites with a tangy tomato flavor.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a second bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten.
  4. Place the flour in a third shallow bowl.
  5. Take each frozen ravioli and coat it first in the flour, then dip it in the egg, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Press coating on firmly.
  6. Arrange the coated ravioli in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd.
  7. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and let cool for 1 minute.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with marinara sauce.

Notes

  • Use frozen ravioli without thawing for best texture.
  • Double coat the ravioli for an extra crunchy bite.
  • To keep batches warm, place cooked ravioli in a 200°F oven until ready to serve.
  • Can be frozen after coating for later use — just extend air frying time by 1–2 minutes.
