Ingredients

  • 1 medium zucchini
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: seasoning variations like Italian seasoning, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, ranch seasoning, or grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Slice the zucchini into thin rounds, approximately 1/8 inch thick.
  2. Pat the zucchini slices dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  3. Toss the zucchini slices in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper, making sure they are evenly coated.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 325°F (162°C).
  5. Place the zucchini slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring there’s no overcrowding.
  6. Air fry the zucchini slices for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Check the chips around the 8-minute mark and remove any that are already crispy. Continue cooking the rest until they are golden and crispy.
  7. Allow the chips to cool slightly before serving. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.

  • Slice the zucchini thinly for the crispiest chips.
  • Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for even cooking.
