Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium zucchini
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: seasoning variations like Italian seasoning, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, ranch seasoning, or grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Slice the zucchini into thin rounds, approximately 1/8 inch thick.
- Pat the zucchini slices dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- Toss the zucchini slices in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper, making sure they are evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 325°F (162°C).
- Place the zucchini slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring there’s no overcrowding.
- Air fry the zucchini slices for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Check the chips around the 8-minute mark and remove any that are already crispy. Continue cooking the rest until they are golden and crispy.
- Allow the chips to cool slightly before serving. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.
Notes
- Slice the zucchini thinly for the crispiest chips.
- Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for even cooking.
- Check on the chips around the 8-minute mark and remove any that are already browned.
- If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container for up to 1-2 days. Re-crisp in the air fryer at a low temperature for 1 minute.
