These bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers are spicy, creamy, and cheesy appetizers wrapped in crispy bacon – perfect for game days, BBQs, and parties.

- 12 jalapeno peppers (3-4 inches long)
- 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 slices bacon (regular cut, not thick cut)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.
- Cut jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove seeds and ribs.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Fill each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture.
- Cut bacon slices in half and wrap each filled jalapeno with a half slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Place on the baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until bacon is crispy and browned.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use gloves when handling jalapenos to avoid irritation.
- For less spice, remove all seeds and ribs. For more heat, leave some in.
- Poppers can be assembled ahead of time and stored in the fridge up to 8 hours before baking.
- Bake poppers before freezing for best texture and reheat in the oven or air fryer.
