Instructions
- Wash and strain the blackberries, then place them in a large sauté pan.

- Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

- Reduce heat to low and let simmer for about 25 minutes, or until thickened to desired consistency.
- Test thickness by placing a small spoonful on a chilled plate. If it holds its shape after 30 seconds, it’s done.
- Remove from heat and ladle into jars or freezer-safe containers.
- Let cool before sealing or follow proper water bath canning procedure for long-term storage.
