Description

Bloody Mary Popsicles are a bold and refreshing savory frozen cocktail made with tomato juice, vodka, fresh vegetables, and classic Bloody Mary seasonings. Perfect for summer parties and brunch gatherings, these spicy cocktail popsicles deliver tangy, smoky flavor in every icy bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups (720 ml) tomato juice
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) vodka
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup (50 g) finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup (75 g) cherry tomatoes, halved

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the tomato juice, vodka, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and lemon juice. Stir well until fully blended.
  2. Add the celery salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Whisk until the spices are evenly incorporated.
  3. Fold in the finely chopped celery and halved cherry tomatoes, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  4. Carefully pour the mixture into popsicle molds, dividing the vegetables evenly among each mold.
  5. Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid.
  6. To serve, run the molds briefly under warm water to loosen, then gently remove the popsicles and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not increase the vodka amount, as too much alcohol can prevent the popsicles from freezing properly.
  • Taste the mixture before freezing and adjust salt or spice levels as flavors mellow slightly once frozen.
  • Finely chop vegetables to ensure even distribution and easier eating.
  • Store popsicles in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, replace vodka with additional tomato juice or vegetable broth.
