Description

Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls are a comforting and easy-to-make meal, perfect for busy nights. These rolls are filled with tender shredded chicken, melted mozzarella cheese, and a savory blend of seasonings, all wrapped in a flaky crescent roll dough and topped with a creamy cheese sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 packages of 8-count crescent rolls
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine shredded chicken with 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, and oregano. Mix well.
  3. Unroll each crescent roll and place about 1/3 cup of the chicken mixture at the wide end of the roll. Roll up the crescent rolls to seal the chicken inside.
  4. Place the stuffed crescent rolls into the prepared baking dish.
  5. In a saucepan, combine the remaining mozzarella cheese, cream of chicken soup, and milk. Heat over medium heat until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  6. Pour the cheese sauce over the crescent rolls in the baking dish, making sure to cover them evenly.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese sauce is bubbly.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you prefer a creamier filling, you can add 4 tbsp of cream cheese to the chicken mixture.
  • To save time, use rotisserie chicken instead of cooking your own chicken breasts.
  • You can freeze the prepared rolls before baking and bake them later for a quick meal.
