- 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 (10 ounce) can of cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 pound frozen tater tots
- 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook ground beef and onion in a skillet until the meat is browned and the onion is soft and translucent.
- In a 9×9 casserole dish, layer the ground beef and onion mixture at the bottom.
- Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of seasoned salt over the beef mixture.
- Spread 1 1/2 cups of shredded sharp cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
- Top the cheese layer with a can of cream of chicken soup, spreading it evenly.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots on top of the casserole and sprinkle with the remaining seasoned salt.
- Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
