Description

The TikTok viral chopped Italian sandwich is a fun, flavorful, and easy-to-make dish that combines savory deli meats, cheeses, and fresh vegetables all chopped into bite-sized pieces. It’s a perfect quick lunch, snack, or appetizer with an Italian twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 Bag Shredded Lettuce
  • 5-6 Slices of Deli Ham
  • 5-6 Slices of Salami
  • 5-6 Slices of Pepperoni
  • 6-7 Slices of Provolone Cheese
  • 1 Tomato Sliced
  • Salt & Pepper (to taste on your tomato slices)
  • 1/2 Red Onion Sliced Thin
  • 12-15 Banana Peppers
  • 2 TBSP Mayonnaise
  • 1 TBSP Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 TBSP Italian Dressing
  • 2 TSP Italian Seasoning


Instructions

  1. Empty lettuce onto your chopping board.
  2. Add slices of ham.
  3. Add slices of salami.
  4. Add slices of pepperoni.
  5. Add slices of provolone cheese.
  6. Add the sliced tomatoes, salt, and pepper the tomato slices.
  7. Add sliced red onion.
  8. Add the banana peppers.
  9. Add the mayonnaise.
  10. Add balsamic vinegar.
  11. Add Italian dressing.
  12. Add the Italian seasoning.
  13. Chop everything until it’s in small bite-sized pieces.
  14. Scoop onto an Italian sub roll or serve with crackers.
