- 1 cup ground dark roast coffee
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 3 teaspoons ground cardamom
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
- 8 cups water
- Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Place a coffee filter into the basket of your coffee maker.
- Add 1 cup of ground dark roast coffee, 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon, 3 teaspoons of ground cardamom, ½ teaspoon of ground nutmeg, ¼ teaspoon of ground cloves, and ¼ teaspoon of ground allspice into the coffee filter.
- Pour 8 cups of water into the coffee maker and brew the coffee as you normally would.
- Once brewed, pour the hot coffee into a mug and top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar, if desired.
Notes
- This coffee can also be enjoyed iced. Simply brew the coffee, refrigerate it, and serve it over ice with creamer.
- If you don’t have a coffee maker, you can make this recipe using a French press.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more powdered sugar, depending on your preference.
