Description

Christmas Morning Punch is a festive, non-alcoholic holiday drink made with cranberry, pineapple, and orange juices, topped with fizzy ginger ale. It’s quick to prepare, perfect for Christmas brunch, and garnished with vibrant seasonal fruits and optional aromatic extras.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cranberry cocktail juice: adds a tart and festive red base
  • 2 cups pineapple juice: brings natural sweetness and tropical brightness
  • 2 cups orange juice: adds citrusy freshness and smooth flavor
  • 2 cups ginger ale: provides light carbonation and subtle spice
  • 46 orange slices: for garnish and citrus aroma
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries: for garnish and a festive pop of color
  • Optional – 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds: for added crunch and color
  • Optional – 2 rosemary sprigs: for a piney, aromatic touch
  • Optional – 2 cinnamon sticks: to infuse warm, holiday spice

Instructions

  1. Choose a clear punch bowl or pitcher to display the punch’s vibrant colors.
  2. Combine 2 cups cranberry cocktail juice, 2 cups pineapple juice, and 2 cups orange juice in the container. Stir gently to mix well.
  3. Place the mixed juice in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to chill.
  4. Prepare garnishes: slice oranges, rinse cranberries, and if desired, freeze cranberries or pomegranate seeds in ice cube trays.
  5. Just before serving, pour in 2 cups ginger ale and stir gently to retain the carbonation.
  6. Add orange slices, fresh cranberries, and any optional garnishes like rosemary sprigs or cinnamon sticks.
  7. Serve immediately over ice and enjoy!

Notes

  • Add ginger ale just before serving to preserve fizz.
  • Double or triple the recipe for larger gatherings.
  • To store leftovers, keep without ginger ale and garnishes to maintain flavor and fizz.
  • Serve in clear glasses to showcase festive colors and garnishes.
