Cotton Candy Fudge

Cotton Candy Fudge

Cotton candy fudge is a colorful and sweet dessert with a creamy texture and a nostalgic cotton candy flavor. With swirls of pink and blue and a sprinkling of unicorn sprinkles, it’s the perfect treat for parties, gifts, or anytime you want to add a bit of magic to your dessert table!

  • Total Time: 2 hours 15 minutes (including setting time)
  • Yield: 16 squares 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cotton candy flavoring
  • Pink and blue food coloring
  • Unicorn or rainbow sprinkles (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Begin by lining an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving extra on the sides for easy removal later. This setup helps when it’s time to slice and serve.
  2. Melt the White Chocolate: In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir the mixture over low heat until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Once melted, remove the pan from heat and add the vanilla extract and cotton candy flavoring. Mix until fully blended.
  3. Divide and Color the Mixture: Pour the fudge mixture into two separate bowls. Add a few drops of pink food coloring to one bowl and blue to the other. Stir each bowl until the color is evenly mixed in.
  4. Create the Swirl Effect: Spoon the pink and blue fudge mixtures into the prepared baking dish in alternating dollops. To make the swirl effect, use a toothpick or butter knife to swirl the colors together gently. The result will be a beautiful, marble-like appearance.
  5. Add Sprinkles: Sprinkle unicorn or rainbow sprinkles over the top of the fudge, adding a touch of whimsy.
  6. Set the Fudge: Place the fudge in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until it’s fully set. Once firm, remove the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper overhang and cut it into squares.
  7. Serve: Your cotton candy fudge is ready! Serve and enjoy this delightful treat.

Notes

  • Choose the Right Flavoring: Make sure to use cotton candy flavoring, not just any candy flavoring, to capture the unique taste.
  • Swirling Colors: Be gentle while swirling the colors. Too much mixing will blend the colors into one, rather than giving that beautiful marble effect.
  • Storing Your Fudge: Keep your cotton candy fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It can last up to two weeks when properly stored, but it’s so delicious, it may not stick around that long!
  • Serving Suggestions: This fudge makes an excellent gift or party treat. Wrap individual pieces in wax paper for easy, mess-free servings.
