Description

Cranberry Cream Cheese Crescent Bites are a perfect combination of flaky, buttery dough with a creamy cheese filling and a tangy cranberry burst. These little bite-sized treats are quick to make and ideal for fall and holiday snacking, offering a festive, sweet-tart flavor that’s both comforting and delightful.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • Optional: Chopped pecans or orange zest for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease or line a mini muffin tin.
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and cut each triangle in half to make 16 smaller triangles.
  4. Press each dough triangle into the muffin tin, covering the bottom and sides of each cup.
  5. Spoon 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into each dough cup, followed by 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
  6. If desired, sprinkle chopped pecans or orange zest on top of each bite.
  7. Bake for 11-13 minutes until the dough is golden and the filling is bubbly.
  8. Cool the bites in the tin for 5 minutes before carefully removing and serving warm.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, substitute regular cream cheese with a plant-based option.
  • Make sure the cream cheese layer fully covers the dough to avoid soggy bottoms.
  • These can be made ahead and frozen unbaked for up to 3 months, baking them straight from the freezer.
  • If you’re short on time, you can use a regular muffin tin for larger bites, baking for 14-16 minutes.
