Scale
- 2 cups shredded chicken
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup salsa
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 10 small flour or corn tortillas
- Cooking spray or olive oil for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir until well-mixed.
- Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of filling onto each tortilla. Roll up tightly and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

- Serve warm with sour cream, guacamole, or salsa on the side.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for convenience and added flavor.
- Warm corn tortillas in the microwave to prevent cracking when rolling.
- Don’t overfill the tortillas to avoid bursting during baking.
- These taquitos can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before baking.
- For freezing, place unbaked taquitos on a baking sheet until frozen solid, then transfer to a freezer bag for up to 3 months.
