Description

Creamy Beef and Bowtie Pasta is a quick and comforting meal perfect for beginner cooks, featuring hearty ground beef, creamy sauce, and tender bowtie pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and diced onion, cooking for 5–7 minutes until beef is browned and onion softened. Add minced garlic and cook for another 1–2 minutes.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes with juice, beef broth, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5–7 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low, stir in heavy cream, and cook for 2–3 minutes until warmed through. Add shredded cheese, stirring until the sauce becomes creamy and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked bowtie pasta into the skillet, tossing until evenly coated in the creamy beef sauce. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Stir in cooked broccoli, peas, or spinach for added nutrition.
  • Add red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños for a spicy kick.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3–4 days.
  • Reheat gently with a splash of broth or cream to refresh the sauce.
