- 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or mozzarella
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and diced onion, cooking for 5–7 minutes until beef is browned and onion softened. Add minced garlic and cook for another 1–2 minutes.
- Stir in diced tomatoes with juice, beef broth, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5–7 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low, stir in heavy cream, and cook for 2–3 minutes until warmed through. Add shredded cheese, stirring until the sauce becomes creamy and smooth.
- Add the cooked bowtie pasta into the skillet, tossing until evenly coated in the creamy beef sauce. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.

- Stir in cooked broccoli, peas, or spinach for added nutrition.
