Description

Creamy Crockpot Crack Chicken is a slow-cooked, beginner-friendly dish made with ranch, cream cheese, bacon, and cheddar. Perfect for quick and healthy meals.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese
  • 1/23/4 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • Buns, croissants, tortillas, or lettuce wraps (optional for serving)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. Place the cream cheese block on top of the seasoned chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours.
  5. Remove the lid and shred the chicken using two forks directly in the slow cooker.
  6. Stir the melted cream cheese into the shredded chicken until well combined.
  7. Add shredded cheddar cheese, cooked bacon, and green onions. Stir until evenly mixed.
  8. Serve warm on buns, tortillas, or lettuce wraps, or with vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • If using frozen chicken, thaw it first for food safety and even cooking.
  • To save time, use pre-cooked real bacon bits and pre-shredded cheese.
