Ingredients

  • Chicken Breasts – 4 pieces
  • Ham Slices – 4 slices
  • Swiss Cheese – 4 slices
  • All-Purpose Flour – 1/2 cup
  • Eggs – 2, beaten
  • Breadcrumbs – 1 cup
  • Butter – 2 tablespoons (plus more for brushing)
  • Heavy Cream – 1 cup
  • Dijon Mustard – 1 tablespoon
  • Parmesan Cheese – 1/4 cup, grated
  • Salt – to taste
  • Black Pepper – to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or light grease.
  2. Pound each chicken breast to an even ½ inch thickness.
  3. Place a slice of ham and cheese on each chicken breast, fold the sides in, and roll up tightly. Secure if needed with toothpicks.
  4. Set up bowls for flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs. Dredge chicken in flour, dip in eggs, and coat in breadcrumbs.
  5. Place chicken rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 165°F).
  7. While baking, prepare the sauce: melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in mustard and cream, thicken slightly, then stir in Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Remove chicken from the oven, rest briefly, then serve drizzled with sauce.
