Description

Crockpot Christmas Candy is a sweet, salty, and incredibly easy holiday treat made in a slow cooker. With layers of chocolate, nuts, and festive sprinkles, it’s perfect for gifting, parties, or enjoying with a warm mug of cocoa. Minimal prep and no candy thermometer needed!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds salted peanuts: adds crunch and a salty contrast
  • 1 bag (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips: provides deep chocolate flavor
  • 1 bag (12 oz) milk chocolate chips: adds creamy sweetness
  • 2 bars (4 oz each) German sweet chocolate, chopped: rich and smooth chocolate layer
  • 2 pounds white almond bark, broken into pieces: helps set the candy and adds a creamy texture
  • 1 cup chopped pecans: adds buttery crunch and flavor
  • Festive sprinkles (optional): for decoration and added holiday flair

Instructions

  1. Layer the ingredients into a 5–6 quart slow cooker in the following order: salted peanuts, semi-sweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, chopped German chocolate, and almond bark on top.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 2 hours. Do not stir during this time.
  3. After 2 hours, remove the lid and stir the mixture thoroughly until fully combined and smooth.
  4. Using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the candy onto parchment or wax paper.
  5. Quickly decorate with sprinkles if using, before the candy sets.
  6. Let the candy cool at room temperature for about 1 hour, or refrigerate to speed up the process.
  7. Once hardened, store in airtight containers or festive tins for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

  • Use quality chocolate for better flavor and texture.
  • Do not stir during the first 2 hours of cooking—let the chocolate melt evenly.
  • Layering the ingredients properly helps avoid burning the chocolate.
  • Store in a cool place or freeze for longer shelf life.
