Description

These easy cheeseburger sliders are made with saucy ground beef, melted cheddar cheese, and soft dinner rolls—perfect for quick dinners or party snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 package (12 sliders) dinner rolls
  • 1 block (8 ounces) cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ¼ dill pickle, thinly sliced (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 6–8 minutes, breaking it up into small pieces.
  3. Add sliced onion and sauté until tender, about 2–3 minutes.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  5. Slice the dinner rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves on the lined baking sheet.
  6. Evenly spread the beef mixture over the bottom buns, top with shredded cheese and optional pickles, then place the top halves of the rolls on top.
  7. Brush the tops with melted butter and bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden and the cheese is melted.
  8. Slice between the rolls and serve warm.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the fridge.
  • Reheat in an oven or air fryer to avoid soggy buns.
  • Freeze only the meat mixture for later use to maintain bread texture.
  • Add sesame seeds on top before baking for a classic burger look.
