Description
These easy cheeseburger sliders are made with saucy ground beef, melted cheddar cheese, and soft dinner rolls—perfect for quick dinners or party snacks.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 1 ½ pounds ground beef
- 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 package (12 sliders) dinner rolls
- 1 block (8 ounces) cheddar cheese, shredded
- ¼ dill pickle, thinly sliced (optional)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 6–8 minutes, breaking it up into small pieces.
- Add sliced onion and sauté until tender, about 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Slice the dinner rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves on the lined baking sheet.
- Evenly spread the beef mixture over the bottom buns, top with shredded cheese and optional pickles, then place the top halves of the rolls on top.
- Brush the tops with melted butter and bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Slice between the rolls and serve warm.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the fridge.
- Reheat in an oven or air fryer to avoid soggy buns.
- Freeze only the meat mixture for later use to maintain bread texture.
- Add sesame seeds on top before baking for a classic burger look.
