Description

This easy ham and cheese croissant bake is a beginner-friendly recipe made with flaky croissants, savory ham, melted cheese, and a honey mustard glaze—perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a quick meal.


Ingredients

  • 6 large croissants, sliced in half lengthwise
  • 12 thin slices good quality deli ham
  • 12 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tbsp everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice each croissant in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
  2. Layer each croissant bottom with two slices of ham and two slices of Swiss cheese. Place the tops back on to form sandwiches.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, honey, and Dijon mustard. Brush this glaze evenly over the tops of the croissants.
  4. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning over the glazed croissants.
  5. Bake for 15–17 minutes until the croissants are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. If they brown too quickly, cover loosely with foil.
  6. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
