Description

S’mores crescent rolls combine buttery crescent dough with melted chocolate, gooey marshmallows, and crunchy graham cracker crumbs for an easy, mess-free twist on the classic campfire treat. Ready in just 20 minutes, this beginner-friendly dessert is perfect for summer gatherings or a quick sweet snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8-count) package crescent roll dough
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips, divided
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • ¼ cup graham cracker crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Set the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare the dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles, making sure the edges are clean for even rolling.
  3. Add the filling: Sprinkle 1 cup of chocolate chips and all of the mini marshmallows onto each triangle, pressing them gently into the dough to keep them in place.
  4. Roll the crescents: Start at the wide end of each triangle and carefully roll toward the pointed tip, enclosing the filling inside. Place the rolled crescents seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake the rolls: Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
  6. Melt and drizzle the chocolate: Microwave the remaining ½ cup of chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth. Spoon the melted chocolate into a piping bag or plastic bag with a small tip cut off, then drizzle it over the warm crescent rolls.
  7. Finish with graham cracker crumbs: Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the rolls while the chocolate is still warm to help them stick. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Alternative fillings: Try adding peanut butter, caramel, or white chocolate for a unique twist.
  • Storage tips: Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to 4 days. Reheat for 10-15 seconds in the microwave before serving.
  • Dietary modifications: For a dairy-free version, use dairy-free chocolate and crescent roll dough.
