Instructions

- Add green food coloring and mix until the dough is evenly colored.
- Form dough into small balls, then roll them in extra sugar to coat them completely.
- Place the dough balls on the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Slightly flatten them with your fingers.
- Top each dough ball with a red heart candy, pressing it gently into the dough.
- Bake for 8 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden and the centers are still soft.
- Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
