Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tube (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup rainbow jimmies sprinkles
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream (for glaze)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon non-pareil sprinkles for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the rainbow jimmies sprinkles until evenly distributed throughout the cheesecake mixture.
- Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 individual triangles along the perforated lines.
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the cheesecake filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough from the wide end toward the narrow tip to form crescent shapes, keeping the filling tucked inside.
- Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each roll.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes or until the crescent rolls are lightly golden brown and flaky.
- While the rolls bake, prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, milk or cream, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.
- Remove the baked crescent rolls from the oven and allow them to cool slightly.
- Drizzle the vanilla glaze over the warm rolls.
- Sprinkle with non-pareil sprinkles for decoration and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- Make sure the cream cheese is softened to ensure a smooth cheesecake filling.
- Avoid overfilling the crescent dough to prevent the filling from leaking during baking.
- Rainbow jimmies work best because they hold their shape and color during baking.
- These rolls taste best when served warm shortly after baking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat briefly in the oven.
