  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning


Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth to deglaze the skillet, scraping any bits from the bottom of the pan.
  5. Add the heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Stir in the parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce is thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the chicken. Simmer for another 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
