Steak Bites:

  • 1 lb steak, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Aged White Cheddar Mash:

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup aged white cheddar cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Green Beans:

  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

For the Steak Bites:

  • Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp butter.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add the steak cubes and cook until browned on all sides and cooked to your desired doneness.
  • Remove from heat and set aside.

For the Aged White Cheddar Mash:

  • Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender.
  • Drain and return to the pot.
  • Add milk, 1/4 cup butter, and the grated cheddar cheese.
  • Mash until smooth and creamy.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

For the Green Beans:

  • In a separate skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the green beans and cook until tender but still crisp, seasoning with salt and pepper.

     

To Serve:

  • Plate the creamy aged white cheddar mash.
  • Top with garlic butter steak bites.
  • Serve with the green beans on the side.
