- 5 tablespoons (71g) unsalted butter, melted
- 8 ounces (226g) full-fat brick cream cheese, cold
- 1 1/2 cups (180g) powdered sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon mint extract (or peppermint extract)
- 3 drops green food coloring (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups (355ml) heavy whipping cream, cold
- 1 Oreo cookie, crushed (optional garnish)
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (optional for serving)
Instructions
- Place the 25 Oreo cookies (filling included) into a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form.
- Transfer the crumbs to a 9-inch pie dish and mix with 5 tablespoons (71g) melted butter until evenly combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of the pie dish. Freeze the crust for 15โ20 minutes while preparing the filling.
- In a large bowl, beat 8 ounces (226g) cold cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add 1 1/2 cups (180g) powdered sugar, 1/8 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon mint extract, and 3 drops green food coloring. Beat until fully combined and smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip 1 1/2 cups (355ml) cold heavy whipping cream to stiff peaks.
- Gently fold or beat the whipped cream into the mint cream cheese mixture until thick and fluffy.
- Spread the filling evenly into the chilled Oreo crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Sprinkle 1 crushed Oreo cookie on top if desired.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours until fully set. Slice with a warm knife and serve with chocolate syrup if desired.
