Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the instant pistachio pudding mix with the entire can of crushed pineapple, including the juice. Stir until the pudding powder is fully dissolved and the mixture begins to thicken.
- Add the mini marshmallows and gently stir until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
- Fold in the chopped pecans or walnuts, mixing lightly to combine.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping using a spatula, being careful not to overmix to maintain a light and fluffy texture.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 to 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to blend and the salad to firm up.
- Stir gently before serving and garnish with additional marshmallows or nuts if desired.

- Use instant pudding mix, not cook-and-serve, for proper thickening.
