Description

These Halloween sliders are bite-sized beef burgers with melted cheese and spooky decorations, perfect for a festive Halloween gathering. Easy to make and customizable, they add a playful, creepy twist to your party table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 12 slider buns
  • 12 slices cheddar cheese
  • 12 pickle slices
  • Ketchup and mustard (for serving)
  • Black olives (for decoration, optional)
  • Candy eyes (optional, for a spooky touch)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, onion soup mix, and water until thoroughly combined.
  3. Shape the beef mixture into small patties, about the same size as your slider buns.
  4. In a large skillet, cook the patties over medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side, ensuring they are fully browned and cooked through.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  6. Assemble the sliders by placing the patties with melted cheese onto the bottom slider buns. Add a slice of pickle, ketchup, and mustard to each burger, according to your taste.
  7. Place the top buns on the sliders. For extra spooky fun, add black olive slices on top for spider legs, and candy eyes to create creepy faces.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your Halloween-themed feast!

Notes

  1. Make-ahead tip: You can prepare the patties and keep them in the fridge for a few hours before cooking. This saves time during party prep.
  2. Cheese lovers: Experiment with different cheeses like pepper jack or gouda for a new flavor twist.
  3. Decoration ideas: In addition to black olives and candy eyes, you can drizzle ketchup like fake blood for extra Halloween vibes.
  4. Serving suggestion: Serve the sliders with fries, a spooky punch, or a side of crispy onion rings for a complete Halloween menu.
  5. Vegetarian option: Swap the beef patties for veggie patties to cater to vegetarian guests.
