- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 large red onion, grated or finely chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or almond flour
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill (or 1 tbsp dried dill)
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic, red onion, egg, breadcrumbs or almond flour, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix with hands until just combined.

- While meatballs are cooking, prepare or chill tzatziki sauce.
- Serve meatballs warm with tzatziki, rice, or salad.
Notes
- Use a thermometer to ensure meatballs reach 165°F for safe consumption.
- Use almond flour for a gluten-free version.
- Can be baked at 400°F for 15–18 minutes as an alternative to pan-frying.
- Freeze raw or cooked meatballs in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
- Pair with pita, couscous, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
