Description

Holiday Wreath Pizza is a festive, cheesy, and visually stunning pizza shaped like a holiday wreath. Made with classic pizza dough, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil, this easy-to-make centerpiece is perfect for Christmas parties, family dinners, or festive potlucks. It’s a delicious, fun, and customizable dish that brings holiday cheer to your table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), halved
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 10-12 fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, for drizzling
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into a large round shape. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
  5. Arrange halved mozzarella balls and cherry tomatoes in a circular pattern around the edge to create a wreath-like appearance.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the top and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning if using.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  8. Remove from the oven and immediately garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  9. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Let the dough sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before rolling—it will be easier to handle.
  • Use a pizza stone for a crispier crust.
  • Customize toppings to taste—add pepperoni, olives, or extra veggies.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat at 350°F for 10 minutes.
