Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
- On a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into a large round shape. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Arrange halved mozzarella balls and cherry tomatoes in a circular pattern around the edge to create a wreath-like appearance.
- Drizzle olive oil over the top and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning if using.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and immediately garnish with fresh basil leaves.
- Slice and serve warm.
