Description

Honey Apricot and Almond Goat Cheese Spread is a creamy, tangy, and sweet appetizer that combines goat cheese, apricot preserves, and crunchy almonds. It’s the perfect spread for any holiday gathering or cheese board.

Ingredients

  • Goat cheese (8 oz)
  • Almonds (1/2 cup, chopped)
  • Dried apricots (1/4 cup, chopped)
  • Fresh parsley or basil (1 tbsp, chopped)
  • Apricot preserves (2 tbsp)
  • Honey (2 tbsp)

Instructions

  1. Remove goat cheese from packaging and allow it to soften at room temperature.
  2. Chop apricots and almonds, then mix them together with chopped fresh parsley (or basil).
  3. Roll softened goat cheese into a log shape and coat evenly with the apricot and almond mixture.
  4. Spread apricot preserves on a serving platter and place the coated goat cheese log on top.
  5. Drizzle honey over the top of the goat cheese log.
  6. Serve with crackers, apple slices, or croissants.

Notes

  • Ensure the almonds are crushed lightly to retain their crunch but still coat the cheese log.
  • Can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated, but drizzle honey right before serving for best results.
  • Great to serve with a variety of dippers, such as crackers, croissants, or vegetable sticks.
