Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 lb chopped fresh pineapple
- 12 oz fresh blueberries
- 12 oz red grapes, sliced into halves
- 4 kiwis, peeled and chopped
- 3 mandarin oranges, peeled
- 2 bananas, sliced (optional)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tsp lime zest (zest of 2 medium limes)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
Instructions
- Prepare all the fruit by chopping it into bite-sized pieces (except blueberries) and add it to a large mixing bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, lime zest, and lime juice until well combined.
- Pour the dressing over the fruit and gently toss to coat the fruit evenly with the dressing.
- Serve immediately, or refrigerate for up to a day (except bananas, which should be added just before serving).
Notes
- Use fresh, ripe fruit for the best flavor and texture.
- Bananas can brown quickly, so it’s best to slice them just before serving.
- If you prefer, substitute mandarin oranges with canned mandarins or mango.
- This fruit salad is best enjoyed the day it’s made, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to one day.
