Description

Italian Cream Cheese Stuffed Celery is a quick and easy 5-ingredient appetizer featuring a creamy, herby filling served in crisp celery stalks. Perfect for parties, holidays, and game day spreads, this low-carb, gluten-free snack is always a crowd favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6-7 stalks celery: rinsed, dried, and cut into 2-3 inch pieces
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese: softened, for creamy base
  • 1 (0.7 oz) packet Italian dressing mix: adds herby, zesty flavor
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise: provides extra creaminess and tang
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese: adds mild cheesy flavor and texture
  • Optional garnish – paprika: for color and a hint of spice
  • Optional garnish – dried parsley: for fresh color and herbaceous aroma

Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry celery stalks. Cut each stalk into 2–3 inch pieces and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, Italian dressing mix, mayonnaise, and shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix until smooth and fully incorporated.
  3. Using a spoon or knife, stuff each celery piece with the cheese mixture.
  4. Optionally, garnish with a sprinkle of paprika and dried parsley for extra flavor and visual appeal.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld and filling to firm up.

Notes

  • Do not prepare the Italian dressing—use only the seasoning packet.
  • You can make the filling 2–3 days ahead and refrigerate until ready to stuff.
  • Stuffed celery can be made and stored covered in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Vegan or dairy-free alternatives can be used for cream cheese and mozzarella.
