Description

Italian Grinder Sliders are a mouthwatering mini version of the classic Italian sandwich, bursting with layers of savory deli meats, melted cheese, and a garlic parmesan glaze. These sliders are perfect for any occasion, offering a combination of comfort, convenience, and irresistible flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 ounces ham, thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
  • 3 ounces thinly sliced pepperoni
  • 3 ounces thinly sliced salami
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomato
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the Hawaiian rolls horizontally and lay the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  3. Layer provolone cheese on the rolls, followed by ham, pepperoni, and salami.
  4. Place the tops of the rolls back on and cut the sandwiches between each roll.
  5. For the glaze, melt butter and mix with grated parmesan, garlic powder, and salt. Spread this mixture generously over the top of the rolls.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops of the sliders are golden brown.
  7. While the sliders are baking, prepare the grinder salad topping. Mix mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to create a dressing.
  8. Toss shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and pepperoncini peppers together with the dressing.
  9. Once the sliders are done, remove the tops, add the grinder salad topping, and replace the tops of the rolls. Serve immediately!

Notes

  • Layer the meats evenly to ensure balanced flavor in each bite.
  • Place the cheese at the bottom to prevent the bread from becoming soggy.
  • Be generous with the glaze for a flavorful, crispy top.
  • Prepare the grinder salad last to avoid soggy sliders.
  • Double the recipe for larger gatherings.
