Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta

Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta Recipe

Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta combines the creamy richness of Alfredo sauce with the savory flavors of a bacon cheeseburger. It’s a comforting, easy-to-make dish that brings together the best of two classic meals.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  2. Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Once done, remove the bacon from the skillet and drain it on a plate lined with paper towels. Leave the bacon grease in the skillet — this will add flavor to the beef and the sauce!
  3. Brown the Beef: In the same skillet with the bacon grease, add the ground beef. Cook over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spoon until it’s browned and cooked through. If there’s excess fat, drain it out.
  4. Add Seasonings: Time to bring in the flavor! Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well so that the seasonings blend evenly with the beef.
  5. Create the Alfredo Sauce: Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Allow it to simmer for a few minutes until it starts to thicken slightly. Gradually add the shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheeses, stirring continuously until the cheeses melt and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  6. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Now, add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing it in the creamy cheese sauce until it’s well-coated. Finally, mix in the crispy bacon pieces, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the dish.

Notes

  • Cheese Selection: Feel free to experiment with different cheeses! Monterey Jack, mozzarella, or even gouda can bring a unique flavor twist to your dish.
  • Meat Alternatives: Not a beef fan? You can swap it with ground chicken, turkey, or even plant-based meat alternatives.
  • Extra Creaminess: For an even richer sauce, add a little extra heavy cream or a dollop of cream cheese.
  • Veggie Add-ins: If you’re looking to sneak in some veggies, consider adding sautéed mushrooms, onions, or bell peppers.
