Description

Low Carb Keto Garlic Parmesan Chicken is a creamy and flavorful dish that combines tender chicken with a rich, cheesy sauce. It’s a perfect meal for those on a keto or low-carb diet, offering a satisfying taste without the carbs. Quick to prepare and loved by the whole family, this recipe provides a comforting dish that you can enjoy any day of the week.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese, divided into 2 half cups

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, salt, pepper, and half of the parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  3. Lay the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in a large baking dish. Spread the prepared cheese mixture generously over each chicken breast, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese evenly over the chicken.
  5. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-35 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). You can check this using a meat thermometer to ensure it’s fully cooked.
  6. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  7. Serve your Low Carb Keto Garlic Parmesan Chicken with your favorite keto-friendly side dishes for a complete meal.

Notes

  • If using thicker chicken breasts, slice them in half to ensure even cooking.
  • For best results, use full-fat cream cheese and sour cream to avoid curdling.
  • If you prefer chicken thighs, they work well in this recipe but may require slightly adjusted cooking times.
  • This recipe can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to a month.
