Description

This melt-in-your-mouth chicken breast recipe is a tender, juicy chicken dish cooked in a rich, buttery sauce with honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and a touch of parsley for garnish. It’s quick to prepare, easy to make, and perfect for a family dinner or a special occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through (internal temp should be 165°F).
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add chicken broth to deglaze the pan and scrape up any flavorful bits.
  5. Stir in the butter mixture and cook, stirring continuously, until the sauce is smooth and bubbly.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the sauce. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Check the chicken’s internal temperature to ensure it reaches 165°F for proper doneness.
  • If you prefer a creamier sauce, you can add heavy cream or coconut milk.
  • For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce.
  • This recipe can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat by simmering on low heat, adding a bit of chicken broth if needed.
