This casserole is loaded with cheese and marinara sauce, making it a rich and satisfying meal that’s easy to prepare. With just a few simple ingredients, this dish will become a family favorite in no time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 lb ground beef (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, ricotta cheese, mozzarella, and marinara sauce. Add the garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt, and mix until smooth.
  4. If using ground beef, cook it in a pan over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat and add to the cheese mixture.
  5. Add the cooked tortellini to the cheese sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and top with the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
