Description

Moose Farts are rich, no-bake cookie balls made with sweetened condensed milk, graham cracker crumbs, coconut, and chocolate chips. These easy, freezer-friendly treats come together in minutes and are perfect for parties, holidays, or a fun family dessert project.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (14 oz / 300 ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup (57 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups (120 g) dried unsweetened coconut, fine or medium cut
  • 1 1/2 cups (150 g) graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups (270 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup (50 g) additional graham cracker crumbs, for rolling

Instructions

  1. Melt the 1/4 cup (57 g) butter in a small saucepan over low heat or in the microwave. Let it cool slightly.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, 1 can (14 oz / 300 ml) sweetened condensed milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and fully blended.
  3. Add 1 1/2 cups (150 g) graham cracker crumbs, 1 1/2 cups (120 g) dried coconut, and 1 1/2 cups (270 g) chocolate chips. Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour, or until firm enough to handle.
  5. Scoop small portions (about 1 tablespoon each) and roll into 1 to 1 1/4 inch balls.
  6. Roll each ball in the remaining 1/2 cup (50 g) graham cracker crumbs to coat evenly.
  7. Place the coated balls on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate again until firm. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Chill the mixture thoroughly before rolling to ensure the balls hold their shape.
  • Keep the cookie balls small, as they are rich and sweet.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • Freeze for up to 3 months in a sealed freezer-safe container; thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
  • For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free graham cracker crumbs.
