- ½ cup peanut butter
Instructions
- Grease a 9-inch square pan to prevent sticking.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and vanilla extract. Add oats and cook for 2-3 minutes, mixing well.
- Press half of the oat mixture into the prepared pan to form a base layer.
- In a separate saucepan, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter over low heat until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the oat base, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture over the chocolate layer, pressing down gently to form a top layer.
- Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours or overnight to set.
- Allow to reach room temperature before cutting into bars.
