Description

No Bake Dirt Cake Casserole is a creamy, layered dessert made with crushed Oreo cookies, sweet cream cheese filling, instant pudding, and fluffy whipped topping. This easy no-bake treat is perfect for Easter, potlucks, and family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 oz Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3.4 oz instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups kefir or whole milk
  • 8 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 cup pastel candy-coated chocolates
  • 1/2 cup mini Oreo cookies

Instructions

  1. Crush the 14 oz Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or sealed bag with a rolling pin. Set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat 8 oz softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup softened unsalted butter, and 1 cup powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk 3.4 oz instant vanilla pudding mix with 2 cups kefir or whole milk for about 2 minutes until thickened.
  4. Fold the thickened pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined and smooth.
  5. Gently fold in the 8 oz whipped topping until light and fluffy.
  6. Spread half of the crushed Oreo cookies evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
  7. Spoon the creamy pudding mixture over the cookie layer and smooth evenly with a spatula.
  8. Top with the remaining crushed Oreo cookies to create the final layer.
  9. Garnish with 1 cup pastel candy-coated chocolates and 1/2 cup mini Oreo cookies.
  10. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the layers to set.

Notes

  • Ensure cream cheese and butter are fully softened to avoid lumps in the filling.
  • Chill for a minimum of 2 hours for best texture and flavor.
  • For a richer chocolate flavor, substitute chocolate pudding for vanilla pudding.
  • Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Do not freeze, as the texture may become watery when thawed.
