Ingredients

  • Smoked sausage, sliced
  • Red bell pepper, diced
  • Green bell pepper, diced
  • Yellow onion, diced
  • Garlic, minced
  • Long grain white rice
  • Chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large, deep skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned on both sides.
  2. Add diced onions and bell peppers to the pan. Sauté for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables begin to soften and onions turn translucent.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and Cajun seasoning. Cook for about 30 seconds to bloom the spices.
