Instructions
- Place white chocolate chips in a mixing bowl and set aside.

- Add heavy cream to the saucepan and heat until small bubbles appear around the edges (do not boil).
- Pour the hot cream mixture through a fine mesh sieve over the white chocolate chips. Press zest into the sieve to extract extra oils.
- Add the orange extract and let the mixture sit for 1 minute.
- Add optional food coloring, then stir the mixture until completely smooth.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for about 2 hours, until the mixture is firm enough to shape.
- Use a teaspoon to scoop the mixture and roll into small balls.
- Roll each truffle in powdered sugar until fully coated.
- Freeze truffles for 20 minutes to set. Store in refrigerator or freeze for up to 1 month.
