Description

These festive Oreo Pinecones are a no-bake holiday dessert made with just three simple ingredients. Rich, chocolatey, and beautifully decorated to resemble snowy pinecones, they make the perfect addition to your Christmas dessert table or edible gift packages.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 308g Oreos (2 packs/10.8 oz): provide the chocolate cookie base
  • 150g full-fat cream cheese (2/3 cup): binds the crumbs into a smooth dough
  • 55g Coco Pops Chocos cereal (2 oz): adds a crunchy, pinecone-like texture
  • Icing sugar, for dusting: mimics snow and adds a sweet final touch

Instructions

  1. Line a baking tray with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. Place the Oreos in a food processor or blender and crush until fine crumbs form.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine Oreo crumbs with cream cheese and mix until fully combined into a dough.
  4. Divide the dough into six equal portions and shape each into a pear shape using your hands.
  5. Press the Coco Pops cereal gently into each shaped piece, starting from the base and working upward, slightly overlapping each piece.
  6. Dust the finished pinecones with icing sugar for a snowy effect.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to firm up the texture.

Notes

  • If the dough is too soft, refrigerate it for 15–20 minutes before shaping.
  • Use slivered almonds instead of cereal for a more elegant, adult-friendly version.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
  • Add edible glitter or a mini star topper for extra festive flair.
