Description
This outrageously good stuffed celery recipe features crisp celery filled with a savory cream cheese mixture, perfect for parties or a quick healthy snack.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4–5 stalks celery – washed and dried
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese – softened
- 1/4 cup bacon – cooked and chopped
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese – grated
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley – chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives – chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
- 3 dashes hot sauce
Instructions
- Wash and dry the celery stalks thoroughly, then cut each stalk in half and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl or food processor, whip the cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
- Add cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, chopped parsley, chives, salt, pepper, and hot sauce to the cream cheese. Mix until fully combined.
- Using a small spoon or piping bag, fill each celery stalk with the prepared cream cheese mixture.
- Optionally, garnish with additional chives or bacon crumbles and serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.
Notes
- To prep ahead, keep celery and filling separate until ready to serve for maximum crunch.
- If the cream cheese mixture is too thick, add a tablespoon of milk or sour cream to loosen it.
- Substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt or goat cheese for variation.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
