Description

These Peach Burrata Parmesan Crostini with hot honey combine fresh, juicy peaches, creamy burrata cheese, crispy prosciutto, and sweet-spicy honey. Perfect for a summer appetizer or light meal, this dish is both savory and sweet, with crispy, cheesy crostini providing the ideal base for all the fresh toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf sourdough or French baguette, sliced
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup grated pecorino cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 4 ounces prosciutto
  • 8 ounces burrata cheese, at room temperature
  • 2 peaches, sliced
  • Hot honey, for serving
  • Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the parmesan, pecorino, grated garlic, thyme, melted butter, and a pinch of black pepper. Spread evenly on the baking sheet.
  3. Arrange the sliced bread over the cheese mixture and brush with melted butter. Add prosciutto around the bread slices.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is golden and melted.
  5. Once baked, break the burrata over the warm crostini. Top with peach slices, prosciutto, and fresh basil leaves.
  6. Drizzle with hot honey and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free bread.
  • Substitute burrata with fresh mozzarella if needed.
  • For a vegetarian version, skip the prosciutto or replace it with grilled vegetables.
  • If you prefer a milder heat, use regular honey or a sweet chili sauce.
