Description

Peppermint Swirl Fudge is a festive, no-bake treat combining creamy white chocolate and rich semi-sweet chocolate layers swirled together with a refreshing peppermint flavor. Topped with crushed peppermint candies, it’s perfect for holiday parties, gifts, or any occasion where you need a sweet, indulgent dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 oz (1 can) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 3 cups White Chocolate Chips
  • 3 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 teaspoon Peppermint Extract
  • ½ cup Crushed Peppermint Candies or Candy Canes
  • Red Food Coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 or 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
  2. In a double boiler, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips with half of the sweetened condensed milk. Stir until smooth. Alternatively, melt in the microwave in 30-second bursts.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Refrigerate for about 10 minutes to allow it to set.
  4. In another bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with the remaining sweetened condensed milk. Stir in peppermint extract. Add a few drops of red food coloring for a marbled effect.
  5. Once the chocolate layer has set, pour the peppermint mixture over it. Use a knife or toothpick to swirl the layers together.
  6. Sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies over the top and press them gently into the fudge.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until fully set. Slice into squares before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure that the chocolate is melted over low heat to prevent it from seizing.
  • If the fudge is too soft to cut, refrigerate it longer or overnight.
  • For cleaner cuts, use a warm knife and wipe it between slices.
  • If you prefer a less sweet version, you can substitute dark chocolate for the semi-sweet chocolate.
