- ¼ cup pasta sauce or pizza sauce (meatless)
- 3 ounces pepperoni, chopped
- 7–8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the muffin tin: Lightly grease it with cooking spray or oil and wipe off any excess with a paper towel.
- In a small bowl, mix the butter, olive oil, salt, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and black pepper. This flavorful blend will elevate your pot pies to another level.
- Open the biscuit package and separate the biscuits. Press each biscuit into the muffin tin, molding it to the bottom and sides. Prick the bottom and sides of each biscuit with a fork to prevent puffing.
- Brush the inside of the biscuit cups with the butter mixture. Add a small dab of pizza sauce (around ½ teaspoon) to the bottom of each cup.
- Layer the fillings: Add 1 heaping tablespoon of shredded mozzarella, followed by ½ tablespoon of chopped pepperoni. Repeat the layers to ensure a cheesy, savory bite in every spoonful.
- Optional: Sprinkle some extra Italian seasoning on top for an added burst of flavor.
- Bake for 20-23 minutes, or until the biscuit edges are golden brown, and the cheese is bubbling.
- Cool briefly: Gently lift the pizza pot pies out of the muffin tin and arrange them on a platter. Serve warm for the best taste!
