Description
These Red, White, and Blue Fruit Kabobs are a fun, healthy, and festive treat made with strawberries, blueberries, and mini marshmallows. Perfect for patriotic holidays or summer gatherings, they’re easy to assemble, kid-friendly, and require no cooking.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pint strawberries
- 1 pint blueberries
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 24 bamboo skewers
Instructions
- Wash and dry the strawberries and blueberries thoroughly to remove excess moisture.
- Trim the strawberries and cut them into bite-sized pieces roughly the same size as the marshmallows and blueberries.
- Take a bamboo skewer and thread a strawberry piece, followed by a mini marshmallow, then a blueberry. Repeat the pattern until the skewer is filled, leaving space at the bottom to hold.
- Repeat the process for all skewers until all ingredients are used.
- Arrange the finished kabobs on a serving platter. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve. Best enjoyed within 24 hours.
Notes
- Use firm, fresh fruit to prevent slipping or sogginess.
- Swap marshmallows with banana slices or angel food cake for variety.
- Keep the kabobs chilled and serve on ice if outdoors for long periods.
- Let kids help assemble for a fun and educational activity.
