Description

Roasted Crispy Parmesan Garlic Brussels Sprouts are the perfect combination of crispy texture and bold flavors. With roasted Brussels sprouts coated in garlic and parmesan, this dish is not only delicious but also healthy, making it a great low-carb side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

  • Brussels sprouts: 1 lb, trimmed and halved
  • Olive oil: 2 tbsp
  • Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
  • Parmesan cheese: 1/2 cup, freshly grated
  • Salt: 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper: 1/4 tsp
  • Lemon juice: 1 tbsp (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.
  3. Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well coated.
  4. Spread the Brussels sprouts evenly on a baking sheet, cut side down.
  5. Roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Sprinkle the roasted Brussels sprouts with parmesan cheese and return to the oven for 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.
  7. Remove from the oven and squeeze lemon juice over the top before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, make sure the Brussels sprouts are in a single layer and not overcrowded on the baking sheet.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to retain the crispy texture.
  • If you’re making this ahead, you can prep the Brussels sprouts and store them in the fridge until ready to roast.
