Description

These Salted Caramel White Chocolate Cookies are soft, chewy, and perfectly balanced with sweet white chocolate, gooey caramel bits, and a sprinkle of sea salt on top. Perfect for any occasion, these cookies are easy to make and deliver indulgent flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel bits
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in white chocolate chips and caramel bits until evenly distributed.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden but centers are still soft.
  9. Immediately sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt after removing from the oven.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Chill the dough for 30–60 minutes if you prefer thicker cookies.
  • Use flaky sea salt like Maldon for best flavor and presentation.
  • Cookies will continue baking on the sheet after removal from oven — don’t overbake.
  • Freeze dough balls for up to 3 months for easy make-ahead baking.
